What was the cause of the fire?

The District investigates the causes of all fires within its jurisdiction as required by statute and code. 

District arson investigators are duly appointed and armed peace officers in the State of California and are responsible for all phases of investigation from initial cause and origin through follow up, apprehension of suspects and testimony in court when necessary. 

All requests for investigation reports should be sent to the District office.
